Benefits

Hatchery waste is quickly macerated to reduce bulk for efficient disposal. A small slot width ensures maximum reduction of  volume, with an infeed hopper designed to be compatible in various configurations with automation and other systems.

How it works

  • Waste materials are fed into the inlet funnel
  • Shaft-mounted fast-rotating chopper blades turn through slots in the chopper plate
  • The specially-shaped outline of the blades presses chopped waste material through the slots to reduce bulk
  • Waste drops directly into a discharge chute and is taken up by a jack, to be expelled from the macerator via the discharge opening
  • Also suitable for connection to a vacuum waste system
